2008 Calendar

The Fairwater Historical Society Board of Directors meets the fourth Wednesday of the month at 7:00 in the Fairbanks Room of the Fairwater Museum. All meetings are open to the public.

May-September: Museum open house each Saturday from 1:00 - 4:00.

July 14: Fairwater Historical Garden Walk, 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. All gardens featured are within the village.

July 19: Civil War program at the Fairwater Historical Society museum beginning at 1:00 p.m. The program features a presentation by Gordon Moran, who will be wearing his great-grandfather's Civil War uniform. Bob Schuster will also offer a brief presentation on Fairwater's Civil War enlistees.

July 27: 9:00 a.m. polka service by the Ridgeland Dutchmen on the lawn at the Fairwater museum. Everyone is welcome. Please bring your own lawn chairs.

August 23: Utley School picnic reunion at the Fairwater Museum. The public is welcome.

October 3-4: Brat Fry Fundraiser at the Brandon depot.

December 7, Old fashioned school Christmas program: Fairwater Civic Center and Fairwater Museum. Re-enactment of a traditional rural school Christmas program.
