DANCING PARTY
Brandon Times, February 9, 1899

The light footed lovers of mirth and music held high carnival at the Odd Fellows Hall last night and danced until the wee small hours of morning. The party was gotten up by a club headed by Ed Geidel, John Scott and Henry Liner and proved to be the greatest social event of the season. Music was furnished by Whiting's Orchestra, of Waupun, with six pieces was the best we have had for years and ranks well with the larger city orchestras. Supper was served in the same fine style at the Commercial House and northing happened to mar the pleasure of the occasion. Quite a number were in attendance from abroad among whom were Frank Pickard Mr. Wilks, A. H. Hobbs and wives, of the Corners, Ed Brown and wife, of Milwaukee, Frank and Bert Shepard, of Omro, Chas and Bert Town, of Waupun, Mrs. W. Brant, of Oshkosh, and W. Thompson, of Waupun.
