W. HANKER FALLS
Brandon Times, September 7, 1899

Tuesday about noon W. Hanker, one of the masons, fell from the second story window of the Schoeffler block to the ground, a distance of about twenty feet, striking on a pile of stones. It was thought at first that his back was broken, but on examination his injuries were found not to be serious. No bones were broken, but he will be laid up for awhile. The wonder is that he was not killed outright.
