A play entitled "The
Interstate Milkmaid's Convention" will be given next Thursday evening, Sept. 21, by
home talent. Everyone come and enjoy yourselves.
K. L. Satterfield and S. Halsey returned Saturday evening from a trip in the
east.
It would be less expensive to some of our young people who enjoy riding in
the evening, if every one in the country, were compelled to have a light fastened to the
vehicle.
Dr. Guy Boyd made a flying trip to Chicago, last week.
Frank Boyd returned from Canton, Illinois, last Friday evening where he held
the position of head book keeper at Parlin & Orendorff's.
Chester Hazen of Ripon visited at S. Hazen's, Monday.
Miss Emma Austin is visiting with friends and relatives here.
When people move and take their horses with them, they should be careful to
keep the barn closed so that the horse cannot return to her former home. Keep the barn
