REEDS CORNERS NOTES
Brandon Times, October 5, 1899

   Miss Birdie Foster is a Ripon visitor this week.
   Mrs. Louisa Cole visited her daughter Mrs. Walt Hobbs Tuesday.
   Mr. and Mrs. John Dunn and baby have returned to Milwaukee after a visit with their parents here.
   Mrs. Chas. Babbitt and son returned to Ashland Friday.
   School is closed in Dist. No. 9 this week on account of the death of Miss Pettit's uncle the Rev. Father Pettit.
   Reeds Corners has a severe attack of the moving fever this fall. P. K. Pickard's have moved into Ripon. F. Wagner occupying the house vacated by them. F. Miller of Amend's factory is moving on to his farm recently purchased. J. F. Dumas have gone to their new home at Roberts, Wis., Mr. Eckstein occupying the Reynold's house and Will Stevens has moved on to the Frank Fallon farm recently vacated by Garret  Loomans who has gone to his new home in northern Wisconsin.
   Mrs. Win Williams and son visited her parents Mr. and Mrs. Fred Wilkes Saturday.
