[DR. TURNER LOSES HOUSE IN OSHKOSH FIRE]
Brandon Times, July 16, 1874

Jonathan Morris, one of the most popular railroad conductors that ever bossed a train, lost two houses in the Oshkosh fire, one of them his own residence. We extend to Jonathan our condolence, and regrets that the rules prohibit "paying on the train."
Dr. Turner, brother -in-law of D. Whitton, of this village, lost his house and furniture in the same fire. Mrs. Turner was visiting here at the time of the fire.
A brother-in-law of S. Weinstock had his residence burned in the Chicago fire.
