Markesan Herald, November 17, 1921
On Wednesday night while the owners and workmen were at supper, fire broke out in
the Card Bros. Garage at Fairwater.
Prompt action on the part of the village residents,
confinel [sic] the fire to five automobiles in the building and part of the interior. Very
little damage was done to the building, but the loss on the cars will amount to about
$2,000.00.
