65 FOOT METAL CULVERT IS LAID RIPON--What is thought to be the largest
metal culvert in the state was laid at Arcade last week. It is twelve and one half feet in
diameter and sixty-five feet long. Twelve feet of filling has been laid at the Arcade
curve where Highway 23 is being relocated. And three feet more will be added. D. J.
Sweeney of FairWater is Superintendent of the project, and has 122 men working there. |
