[A. B. POSTEN DEAD]

   From the State items in the Republican we find the following from Westfield: "Mr. A. B. Posten, an old gentleman past 70, residing in the town of Springfield, this county, fell dead while chores in his barnyard, on Monday morning. Heart disease supposed to be the cause." Mr. Posten was one of the early settlers at Fairwater, where he lived until a few years since, and was well known and highly esteemed throughout this section.
