[JENKINSON WAGON BROKEN OPEN]
Brandon Times, November 23, 1874

Tuesday evening, R. Jenkinson stopped at Dan Eggleston's, and drove his notion wagon under a projection built in front of the granary, to drive under, with no doors. During the night there were twenty or thirty of the boys there administering a tin pan serenade to one of Dan's hired men. The next morning Robt. found his wagon had been broken open and goods badly mussed. He couldn't tell exactly how much was taken but he proposes to make it warm for them.
