[MRS. JOSIAH BATSON DIES]

  Mrs. Batson, wife of Josiah Batson, of Fairwater, died last Saturday, aged 62 years. She had been in poor health for a number of years, and had a stroke of paralysis about a week before her death, which was the immediate cause of her decease. The funeral was held yesterday afternoon, Rev. H. W. Carter of this place officiating. The deceased was one of the early settlers of that region, where she was highly respected by all.
