Fairwater Register, January 15, 1904

   Louis Frye, a son of John Frye, is very sick.
   A number from here visited at Brandon Tuesday.
   Mrs. Hinkley of Ripon was the guest of Mrs. Layton Sunday.
   Mrs. C. S. Griffith of Marquette is spending the week in this village.
   A. P. Curtis of Ripon spent Monday in this village, the guest of Dr. Layton.
   A number of young people from Ripon attended church here Sunday evening.
   Al Vandyn shipped a crate of his blooded poultry to parties in Minnesota this week.
   It is reported that Chas. Kuehn of Horicon was here recently and is about to purchase the elevator of Smith and Schmuhl.
   Call on Lyons if you need anything in the harness line. Those sleigh bells are very nice, step in and examine them.
   Wm. Smith, who resides with his son, C. A. Smith, is reported very ill.
   August Bursock of Fountanio, Minn., is visiting with John Laper. He expects to remain here some weeks.
