[BORNSHEIN'S ELEVATOR]

     Fairwater had a grand celebration last Thursday and Bornshein's new elevator was opened up with great ceremony. Speeches were delivered by P. K. Pickard and others and the Brandon band furnished the music. In the evening a grand dance was held. Fairwater has experienced a wonderful boom the past year. Most of the new buildings have been put up on the north side in the vicinity of the depot. Seven new store buildings and quite a number of fine residences have been erected. Since the new elevator has been building a road has been opened up from the west side of the bridge across the pond to the depot, making it much easier to access to the people living west of the town. Fairwater please allow the little suburban village of Brandon to wish you success and prosperity
