INTERMEDIATE DEPARTMENT
   Joyce Blank was absent from school Thursday and Friday.
   Marie Kunert made a visit to the dentist Monday.

GRAMMAR DEPARTMENT
   Miss Mollie was excused from school Monday afternoon, for she had to visit Dr. Pett.
   Mabel had her hair combed somewhat different Monday.
   The Eighth Grade entertained the rest of this room Friday afternoon by giving a program.
   There was no school Tuesday afternoon or Wednesday. Mr. Lukesh being ill.
   Orpha Dietrich had charge of the room Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:15.
   Mollie got a scratch on her hand, Lolita on her nose, playing Keep Away, Monday.
   The "Frosh" are studying the Pythagorean Theorem in Algebra. Result: "Hard times."
   The "Frosh" held a session after school Thursday evening.
   Misses Florence, Orpha, Irene and Mabel held a session with Mr. Lukesh Friday in regard to their dislike for each other.
