Frank and Emma Mielke, ca. 1930

Frank Mielke, a carpenter and co-owner with the Tinkham family of the Jimtown grain elevator, built numerous houses in the Fairwater area between 1904 and 1917, when the family moved to Ripon. Emma Mielke was Vice President of the state Women's Christian Temperance Union in the 1920s.
