DEATH OF AN
OLD SETTLER

FRED BAUMHARDT DIED IN TOWN OF EDEN SUNDAY MORNING

   Fred Baumhardt, who has lived in the town of Eden all his life, died at his home about four and one-half miles southwest of the village of Eden, at 2:30 o'clock Sunday morning.
   Deceased had been in ill health for the past fourteen years, but his condition did not become serious until about six weeks ago. Death was due to tuberculosis of the bowels and rheumatism.
   Mr. Baumhardt was born January 16, 1864, on the farm, near Eden and resided there all his life. Besides a widow he leaves five children, William, Albert, Adolph, Ida and Mabel, all at home.
   The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon from the residence, interment taking place at the Odekirk cemetery. Rev. Reykdal of the Campbellsport Methodist church officiating.
