JOS. BOHLMAN DIES SATURDAY

  At the age of 88 years, Joseph Bohlman, one of the oldest settlers and residents of this community, died at the home of his son, John, at Waucousta, Saturday evening, after an illness of several years. Death was due to dropsy and heart trouble. He is survived by two sons, John of the Town of Osceola and Jacob of the Town of Auburn; two daughters, Mrs. C. J. Gaffney of Chicago, and Mrs. John Mooey of Oshkosh.
   Mr. Bohlman was born in Germany in 1832, coming to America fifty-two years ago, settling in New York state. He later moved to this village, spending the remainder of his life in this immediate vicinity.
   The funeral was held Tuesday morning at 10 o'clock from St. Matthew's Catholic church, Rev. Father July officiating. The pallbearers were John Granger, Mike Tunn, John Tunn, John Polzean, Jos. Polzean and Jos. Parrett. Interment was held in Union cemetery.
