ERNEST BREYMAN CALLED BY DEATH
OLD AND HIGHLY RESPECTED CITIZEN DIED
EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING
Ernest A. Breyman, one of our oldest
and most highly respected citizens, died at his home on east Main street at 4 o'clock
Wednesday morning, after being in poor health for several years past.
Mr. Breyman was born in New Cassel, which now forms a part of this village,
on April 3, 1859. He attended the public schools here and has always made this village his
home. He was engaged in the commission and truck farming business, and by his square and
honest dealings had made many true and lasting friends.
On May 23, 1888, he was joined in marriage to Miss Anna Dickmann, who
preceded him in death 21 years last June. Two sons and four daughters survive him, they
are Private Otto E. Breyman, with the American Expeditionary Forces in France; Adolph of
Milwaukee; Mrs. Sydney Pope of Anoka, Minn., Mrs. Will Martin, Johanna and Clementine
Breyman of this village; three sisters, Mrs. C. E. Leveranz of South Chicago, Mrs. John
Landt of Chicago and Miss Helen Breyman of Campbellsport also survive.
The funeral will be held from the Reformed church at ten o'clock Saturday
morning, Rev. Wm. Zenk officiating. Interment will take place in the Reformed
Congregation's cemetery in town Auburn. |
