BEN DAY INJURED

Ben Day received several painful injuries while at work on his father's farm near the village last Saturday. He was engaged in repairing a stanchion when a young heifer became frightened and in floundering about kicked Mr. Day several times. H. F. Krueger, manager of the farm, was near at hand and managed to get Mr. Day out of danger before he was more seriously injured.
During the mix-up he was kicked about the face, right arm and leg, but is now able to be around although still feeling the effects of his experience.
