GEO. FERBER DIES SUDDENLY
FOUND DEAD IN BED BY HIS BROTHER LAST TUESDAY MORNING
George Ferber, a lofe long resident of
town Auburn, was found dead in his bed last Tuesday morning, by his brother Edward, with
whom he made his home.
Mr. Ferber had been in poor health for several weeks, but was not feeling
worse than usual when he retired Monday evening about eleven o'clock. When his brother
went to call him at about 8 o'clock next morning he found life extinct. Heart failure was
the cause of death.
The deceased was 52 year, 4 months and 21 days old. He was born in the town
of Auburn, on the farm now owned by Peter Senn, October 4, 1866, and had always been a
resident of that community. For a number of years past he had been making his home with
his brother Edward, on the former Gage farm, about 5 miles southeast of the village, who
with another brother, William H., also of the town of Auburn, survive.
The funeral will be held Friday morning from the residence, interment in the
Auburn cemetery. |
