JAMES FLYNN

  James Flynn, a pioneer resident of the town of Osceola, died at his home last Saturday morning.
   Mr. Flynn was born in the state of New York, on August 15, 1843.
   In his early youth he came to this vicinity and later purchased and settled on a farm in the town of Osceola, where he has made his home for over half a centuary. He is survived by his widow, five sons, John and Elliot Flynn of Townsend, James of Lakewood, George and Edward at home, four daughters, Mrs. Kate Klipstein of Fond du Lac, Mrs. Mary Brittle of Osceola, Mrs. Irene Donnelly of Cleveland, Ohio, and Jennie at home.
   The funeral services were held Tuesday morning at ten o'clock, from the Catholic church at Dotyville and interment took place in the adjoining cemetery.

AVERY VAN BLARCOM

   Avery R. Van Blarcom, a pioneer settler of the county, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. B. G. Romaine, near New Prospect, Saturday morning at 3:30 o'clock, after an illness of several weeks' duration.
   Mr. Van Blarcom was born in New Prospect sixty-three years ago, and resided there during the entire time of his life. He is survived by two brothers, P. G. Van Blarcom and B. L. Van Blarcom of Fond du Lac; and three sisters, Mrs. E. J. Arimond of this city, Mrs. B. G. Romaine  of New Prospect and Mrs. Nelson Tice of Fond du Lac.
   The funeral services were held Monday afternoon at two o'clock, from the Romaine residence and interment took place at the New Prospect cemetery. Rev. W. J. Corr of Juneau officiated at the services.
   Many friends of the deceased from here attended the funeral at New Prospect Monday afternoon.
