SUSTAINS FATAL INJURIES SATURDAY
EMIL GESSNER DIES FROM INJURIES INFLICTED BY HORSE'S KICK

  Emil Gessner, aged 35, of New Prospect, died Sunday night from injuries received by the kick of a horse. The accident occured while Gessner was unhitching the horse from the mower Saturday night. The injury was suffered in the breast.
   The death of Mr. Gessner came as a great shock over the community in which he resides. He was a very prominent young man, highly esteemed by his friends and neighbors.
   The funeral took place Wednesday at St. John's church at New Fane. The deceased is survived by his wife and five children, three boys and two girls, and by his parents and nine brothers and sisters, all living near New Prospect.
