AGED RESIDENT
CALLED BY DEATH

PETER HAHN DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS

   The death of Peter Hahn Sr. an old resident of Campbellsport and vicinity took place Monday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Mr. Hahn was born in Walsdorf Rheinprenssen, Nov. 22, 1826 and emigrated to America in the early fifties, settling near Saukville Wis. where he was married in 1852 to Miss Barbara Roden later he removed to Eblesville this county where he lived until 1867 when he removed to his late home near Campbellsport. He is survived by his wife, six sons and two daughters, Nicholas, Adam, Matthias, and Peter Hahn Jr., reside at Campbellsport, Joseph and John in Empire, Miss Susan at Campbellsport and Mrs. Catherine Lehman at Danville, Ill.
   Mr. Hahn had been ailing for six months past and was taken suddenly worse Sunday.
   The funeral will be held this morning at 10 o'clock at St, Matthew's church Rev. Fr. July officiating.
   Interment will be at the Catholic cemetery here.


  Death of Louis Ertz
   The death of Louis Ertz of this village took place Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock.
   Deceased had just returned from the West where he had been serving as a private in the regular army having been stationed at Fort Worden, Wash., and for a time at New Mexico.
   He was 24 years old and his mother had resided here for the past four years. Death was due to tuberculosis from which the young man had suffered for the past two years.
   He is survived by his mother, one brother, Arnold W., and two sisters, Sidonia and Anita, all of this village.
   The funeral will probably be held Saturday morning from St. Matthew's church. Burial will be at the Catholic cemetery.
