PROMINENT YOUNG PEOPLE MARRIED
RAY HENDRICKS AND ELDON ROMAINE JOIN RANKS OF THE NEW BENEDICTS

A quiet wedding was performed by Rev. Wm. Zenk Wednesday at high noon, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Schleif, at Five Corners, when their daughter, Rose M. Schleif, became the bride of Ray A. Hendricks of this village.
The couple was unattended and the ceremony was witnessed by only immediate relatives of the bride and groom. The bride wore a dark blue traveling suit and hat to match.
Following the ceremony a wedding dinner was served, after which the young couple departed on a month's tour to California, Washington and Oregon.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Hendricks are too well known to need introduction to our readers. The bride is a very popular young lady, being prominent both in church and society circles. Mr. Hendricks, the only son of Mr. and Mrs. O. G. Hendricks, is manager of the local factory of the Kiel Woodenware company, and a prominent young man in business and society circles.
They will reside here, and the News joins their many friends in extending hearty congratulations.

GUTH-ROMAINE
The marriage of Miss Edna A. Guth, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Louis D. Guth of Kewaskum, to Elwyn M. Romaine, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Romaine of New Prospect, was solemnized Wednesday afternoon. The ceremony took place at three o'clock, at the Evangelical Peace parsonage, the Rev. F. R. Mohme officiating, and was witness by a company of immediate relatives.
The bride was becomingly attired in a metro taupe broadcloth suit trimmed with mole skin, and wore a hat to match and a corsage bouquet of Ward rosebuds and lillies of the valley. Miss Elsie Guth as bridemaid, wore a burgundy serge dress, and a corsage of roses. Edgar H. Romaine attended as best man.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents, and a wedding dinner served. Mr. Romaine and his bride left on a wedding trip, their destination being unknown, and after November 15 they will be at home to their friends. They will reside in the F. Colvin residence on West Water street, Kewaskum. The groom is cashier of the Farmers and Merchants State bank of that place.
Both young people are well known and have a host of friends who extend best wishes at this time.
