DEATH OF MICH. M'ENROE
EDEN PIONEER PASSED AWAY AT
HIS HOME ON TUESDAY EVENING

   Michael McEnroe, age 77 years, a pioneer of this county, died at his home in the village of Eden, Tuesday evening at 7:30 o'clock, after a lingering illness.
   Mr. McEnroe was a well known and highly respected resident of this county, having lived at Eden and its vicinity for the past seventy years. He was born in Ireland in 1838 and came to this country with his parents at the age of six years. He came to Wisconsin from New York and settled on a farm near Eden where he resided with his family until a few years ago. He then retired from active life and took up his residence in the village of Eden,.
   Besides a widow he is survived by two daughters, Emma and Nettie; two brothers, Edward of Eden, and John of this village; two sisters, Mrs. Freeman Johnson, also of this village, and Mrs. Catherine Travers of Chicago.
   The funeral will be held Friday morning from the residence in Eden at 9:45 o'clock and from St. Mary's church at 10 o'clock. Rev. Father McFarland will officiate and interment will be at St. Mary's cemetery.
