DEATH OF MRS.
MARY POLZEAN

OLDEST RESIDENT OF CAMPBELLSPORT DIED SATURDAY AT HOME OF HER SON

   Mrs. Mary Polzean, the oldest resident of our little city, died last Saturday afternoon at three o'clock, at the home of her son, John Polzean, after an illness of about one year's duration.
   Deceased was born in Germany 95 years ago. She came to America, with her husband, and for seven years resided at Waukesha. In 1865 the family moved to the town of Osceola, where Mrs. Polzean resided until six years ago, when she moved to Campbellsport to reside with her son.
   She is survived by two sons, John of this city, and Michael Polzean of town Osceola; one daughter, Mrs. Frances Herery of Chicago; fourteen grand-children and fourteen great-grand-children.
   The funeral services were held Tuesday morning at nine o'clock from St. Matthew's Catholic church, the Rev. Father July officiating. Interment was held in the Union cemetery.
   The pall bearers were Nicholas and Math Hahn, Henry Leibel, Leo Serwe, John Granger and Michael Tunn.
  
The following relatives from out-of-town attended the funeral services: Augustin Polzean and family of Milwaukee; Mrs. Frances Herery and daughter, Mary of Chicago; Joe Sook and wife and Charles Marx and family of Dotyville, and Mrs. Peter Krehn of Fond du Lac.
