TOLL OF THE GRIM REAPER
AUGUST RAMPTHUM AND THOMAS ROHAN DIED DURING THE PAST WEEK

   August Rampthum, aged 78 years, died at his home in the town of Osceola at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon. His death is attributed to heart failure.
   Mr. Rampthum was born in Pommerz, Germany, November 11, 1838 [?] and in 1867 he emmigrated to America, coming directly to Wisconsin, he settled on a farm in town Osceola, where he resided up to the time of his death. He was held in high esteem by a large circle of friends and was one of the most prominent farmers in this community.
   The deceased is survived by a widow, two sons and four daughters.
   The funeral was held from the Lutheran church at Dundee at ten o'clock, Wednesday morning. The Rev. C. Aeppler officiated and interment took place in the Dundee Lutheran cemetery.
