MRS. ROHLFS DIES AT FOREST
AGED SETTLER PASSES AWAY AT FAMILY HOME THURSDAY EVENING

  The death of Mrs. Catherine Rholfs, aged 80, an esteemed resident of the town of Forest for the past sixty-nine years, occurred at 7:05 o'clock last Thursday evening at the family home, following a two weeks' illness.
   The deceased came to this country in 1847 with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Holterman, and settled in Michigan. She came to Wisconsin in 1848, settling in the town of Forest, where she had resided ever since. She was married to John Rholfs at the age of 17.
   Mrs. Rholfs is survived by five sons, Gustave, John, Henry and Martin of Forest, and Charles of Fond du Lac; a brother, Louis Holterman of Fond du Lac and a sister, Mrs. Smith of Minneapolis.
   The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock from the residence. Interment took place in Forest cemetery. The Rev. H. C. Klingbeil officiated at the services and the remains were carried to the grave by John Roehl, Charles Schwartz, Julius Topp, Joseph Sook, and Ernest Vichstedt.
