MRS. SCHULTZ BADLY
INJURED
Mr. and Mrs. William Schultz of
Waucousta were badly injured when their carriage was overturned in a ditch while returning
home from church last Thursday morning.
Their horse became frightened at a passing truck and dragged the buggy off
the road, causing it to turn over and hurl the two occupants out and up against a
telephone pole.
Mrs. Schultz sustained three fractured ribs and an injury to her head. Mr.
Schultz was badly bruided and shaken, but escaped without any broken bones.
The couple was taken home by the driver of the auto truck who had stopped
when he saw the accident. It is feared that Mrs. Schultz may have been injured internally.
Mr. and Mrs. Schultz reside on a farm near Waucousta and are among the highly respected
residents in that district. |
