TOLL OF THE GRIM REAPER
THREE PROMINENT PEOPLE ANSWER DEATH'S SUMMONS

Mrs. Mina Flitter, aged eighty years, and a pioneer resident of the town of Osceola, died at her home at seven o'clock Saturday evening. Mrs. Flitter had apparently recovered from a recent illness and for a few days prior to her death was attending to household duties. She was at work in her kitchen when she was stricken with apoplexy and death followed immediately.
Although Mrs. Flitter had attained an advanced age, she was as active in work as women many years younger. She was keeping house for her two sons, Emil and Gustave, who remained with her on the farm home, after the death of their father in 1911.
Besides the two sons at home, the deceased is survived by two sons, Adolph of this village, and Frank of town Auburn, and two daughters, Mrs. John Tunn of New Prospect, and Mrs. Michael Polzean of town Osceola.
The funeral services were held from the local St. Matthew's Catholic church at 9:30 o'clock Tuesday morning. Rev. Father July officiated and interment took place in the Union cemetery.

   ALBERT GERMAN
Albert German, age 35 years, and 9 days, son of Mr. and Mrs. George German of St. Kilian, died Friday morning at 10:30 o'clock at his home in that village following a short illness.
His death comes as a great shock to his many friends as he was apparently in good health up to about a week ago, when he was taken suddenly ill, while working as a carpenter on a building near Elmore. He was brought to his home and for a time it was thought that he was improving, but his condition grew worse Thursday.
Besides his parents he leaves three brothers and a sister, Edward of Milwaukee, Kilian of Toledo, George at home, and Mrs. Joseph Schmitt of St. Kilian.
The funeral was held Monday morning at 10 o'clock from St. Kilian's Catholic church. The Rev. F. Falbisoner, officiated. Mr. German was a member of the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin.
Frank Kleinhans, Sr., J. H. Kleinhans, Henry Weis, B. M. Schlaefer and Wm. Jaeger, members of the local branch, Catholic Knights attended the funeral services.
