Green Lake County, Wisconsin: Post Offices

Early records of the post offices in Marquette County (later divided into Marquette and Green Lake counties) are available from the following sources: (1) Table of Post Offices in the United States (Washington: W. & J. C. Greer, Printers, 1851), (2) James S. Ritchie, Wisconsin and Its Resources (Philadelphia: Charles DeSilver, and Chicago: W. B. Keen, 1858), and (3) Post Office Directory: List of Post Offices in the United States (Washington: Government Printing Office, 1870). Comparative records from those sources follow. Spellings are offered as printed. The last two columns reflect the division of Marquette County into Green Lake and Marquette Counties in 1858.
