WURNTF Minutes
April 18, 2002
I. Roll Call
Members Present: Judy Scheehle, Sue Schlueter, Joe DeRose,
Mark Weaver, and Shawn Graff
II. Minutes
Mark Weaver moved for approval of the agenda and Joe DeRose
seconded. Motion passed.
Mark Weaver moved for approval of the minutes of February
28, 2002 and Sue Schlueter seconded. Motion passed.
Sue Schlueter has started entering data from the Milton House
files into the Wisconsin Underground Railroad database. The National Park
Service likes the format of the database. Deb Wildes will start entering
info; records she's unsure of will be brought to the June meeting of this
board for review.
Judy Scheele noted that the Illinois Underground Railroad
meeting was interesting. The Illinois organization seems to have a core
group of high profile leaders. Wisconsin needs this type of leadership.
Mark Weaver will mail the agenda for our June meeting to
all members and Judy will e-mail it as well. Members will be asked what
they expect both the short- and long-term goals of the organization should
be.
Next meeting of the WURNTF will be on June 20, 2002 at 10:00
a.m. at the Community House, across from the Milton House, in Milton.
Meeting adjourned at 11:30 a.m.
